BiSN is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive business growth in the oil and gas sector. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and leading the entire sales process. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, expertise in downhole wireline tools, and a deep understanding of the energy sector.

Success in this role requires strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams. You will be responsible for managing key accounts, executing sales strategies, and ensuring revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities in the oil and gas sector through market research, prospecting, and lead generation.
  • Sales Process Management: Oversee the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, including proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity in the wireline tools sector.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement effective sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Forecasting & Performance Tracking: Generate accurate sales forecasts and monitor progress against targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with key clients, contractors, and partners to ensure long-term business success.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, and other internal teams to align sales efforts with product delivery and customer requirements.
  • Reporting & CRM Management: Maintain sales activity reports, update CRM systems, and provide weekly management updates.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in sales and business development within the oil & gas industry.
  • At least 5 years in wireline services or downhole wireline tools.
  • Strong industry network and deep knowledge of the energy sector.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to coach others.
  • Strong financial acumen, including expertise in cash flow, ROI, and profit margins for structuring complex sales agreements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
  • Commercially aware, self-motivated, and focused on delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Strategic thinker, proactive, and results-oriented with strong leadership qualities.
  • Adaptable to evolving market conditions and changing customer needs.
  • Able to work independently and drive sales targets with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret well schematics and programs.
  • Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems.
  • Competent IT skills and experience in delivering technical presentations to clients.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
