Alan was born in Inverness, Scotland and moved to the UAE in 1990 where he spent the majority of his childhood and early teenage yrs. Alan attended boarding school in Scotland prior to obtaining a higher national certificate in mechanical engineering in Glasgow Scotland. Eventually moving to Perth Western Australia in 2005 and was lucky enough to be picked up by a large oil and gas service provider and kick start his career in the industry.

Alan joined BiSN operations team in 2022 as a field engineer. Alan is primarily based in Perth Western Australia and is responsible for local geomarket job planning and execution, as well as deploying BiSN wel-lok* technology globally.
Having joined the oil field in 2005, Alan has extensive experience in down hole tool deployment. Working internationally on both on and offshore installations.
