BiSN Oil Tools provides Downhole Sealing Solution to the Oil and Gas Industry. The company develops downhole tools for various sealing applications in P&A, through tubing intervention, water & gas management and drilling & completions.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join the technical team in Houston. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects- working with a team of engineers, designers, and technicians to take projects from requirements, concepts, and feasibility through to development and commercialization. The position will require definition of tests and qualification plans, management of project schedules and budgets, and working knowledge of downhole tool design rules and best practices. A good understanding of Wireline Tool technologies is preferred. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as product managers, designers, and other stakeholders, to drive the successful completion of projects.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets based on customer requirements.
• Define and clearly communicate test and qualification plans and procedures.
• Analyze test results and write detailed reports documenting the findings.
• Plan timelines and maintain oversight of items throughout the production and testing cycle.
• Perform root cause analysis on lab and field tests and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate with customers via meetings, emails, and presentations to provide progress updates.
• Deliver project milestones on schedule and budget.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 5+ years Project Engineering experience and/or managing field service for Oil & Gas service company.
• Practical knowledge of project management.
• Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
• 3+ years field experience with downhole or subsea equipment preferred.
• Authorized to work in USA without restriction.
• Resourceful problem solver: Able to come up with innovative solutions to difficult problems.
• Thorough: Able to communicate project plans and results clearly and completely.
• Progress-Oriented: Focused on ensuring that the job gets done even through challenges.
• Health and Safety focused: Must prioritize the health and safety of self and others when developing testing plans and tool designs.
