As Senior Vice President of Research & Development, Arild will spearhead global R&D efforts and maintain BiSN’s leadership in developing advanced oil and gas technologies.
Working collaboratively with the Technology and Operations areas of BiSN, Arild will also work to continue the expansion of our engineering team.
Arild’s remarkable career in the oil and gas industry extends over three decades. His journey in the sector has been marked by significant accomplishments and leadership roles.
At Interwell, where he has spent the last 15 years, he excelled as the Global Product Line Manager for Customised Solution. Starting as Engineering Manager, he built the Stavanger based company’s Engineering capacity on Downhole Tools and Electronics. He was also a key industry influencer for downhole verification of any barrier and barrier products to fulfil API & ISO 14310 in the industry. Arild holds several patents in the downhole environment.
Arild’s career path also includes pivotal roles at PI-Intervention, Welldeco, Weatherford, Wood Group and Maritime Well Service, now Altus. In these positions, he was instrumental in managing various engineering and project development initiatives, particularly focusing on downhole instrumentation and production technology.
